Laura Turégano, Associate Director of the King Juan Carlos I of Spain Center in NYC.
Ms. Turégano has ten years of experience in philanthropy and public affairs, with specific expertise in the areas of producing arts and cultural programs. She received a Master in Arts Administration from New York University (NYU) and a Masters in European Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Economics from ICADE University in Madrid, Spain. Prior to joining the Center’s staff, Ms. Turégano worked both in the private and public sectors at the New York-based private consulting firm, Changing Our World, Inc, and for the European Commission in Belgium and Jordan. A native of Madrid, Spain, Laura is fluent in Spanish and English, and proficient in French.
Eva Mendoza is an independent curator, cultural manager and artist who lives and works in NYC.She has degrees in Journalism and in Humanities, and has been specializing in contemporary art and cultural management. She took PhD courses in Fine Arts and Modern Categories at the Complutense University, Spain. She has a Master’s degree in Cultural Management from the Instituto Ortega y Gasset and a Master’s degree in Art and New Technologies at the Universidad Europea de Madrid. In 2008 she was awarded with a Fulbright Grant of the Development of Arts and Cultural Management Program   a non-profit cultural association, which she co-directed from its beginning until 2007. Through this association she has developed art management projects in several Spanish cities, such as Madrid, Sevilla, Valencia and Santiago de Compostela, among others.
